Appearance and Construction
The MR-Series Turnstile body has been designed with smooth, modern lines to blend with a variety of building architecture. The main body is constructed from 14 gauge (0.075) type 304 stainless steel (also available in powder coated carbon steel) with a ¼” thick stainless steel base plate. The lockable top cover is completely removable and provides ample space for additional electronics or card readers. The double wall construction and lower lockable compartment provide additional space for electronics and conceal all fasteners.

Durable and reliable, with an easy to service mechanism
The MR-Series uses www.TURNSTILES.us 's heavy-duty mechanism, which was designed and built to withstand the abuse of a modern day, high-traffic subway station. The components are fabricated both from hot rolled carbon steel and stainless steel. All steel parts are coated with black oxide and oil for protection. All shafts and pivot points are stainless steel and rotate about bronze or ball bearings. The turnstile mechanism is field upgradeable to add a variety of options .

Servicing of the MR-Series turnstiles is a cinch.
All parts are easily reached without the removal of the mechanism from the cabinet and most servicing take only a matter of minutes. Compare and you will see that the MR-100 surpasses the competition in quality, durability, and serviceability -- and is the only turnstile mechanism that offers an all bearing construction.

The MR-Series units may be ordered in a variety of different configurations. Please call for details.

Internal Counter
The MR-Series internal counter has a large eight-digit liquid crystal display and is powered by an internal lithium battery. It may be ordered for reset or non-reset. The model MR-100 may be ordered with one or two counters.

Electric Unlocking
The unlocking feature adds solenoid control. This allows for the use of a card reader or other type of access control device. The control solenoid operates at 24VDC for safe operation. The electric unlocking option includes a control board that handles a time-out feature, and has the ability to control other turnstile functions such as lights, displays, audible alarms, etc.

Fail-Safe
The fail-safe option provides a battery back-up system in the event of a power failure. This option allows the turnstile to continue functioning during a power failure.

Additional Switches
Additional switches may be added to activate counters in a remote location. The MR-100 may be ordered with one extra switch for each direction.

Cabinet Styles
It may also be furnished in a powder-coated carbon steel finish. Also available are granite tops, Corian style tops, and other materials to match your architectural needs.
